 The first scene we see is of the police raiding one of the characters house. Immediately this shows us what the film may revolve around which could be violence and crime. The camera edits and movement is very quick, and mainly involve cuts to the next shot, this creates a tense atmosphere and grips the audience. The background music is very slow paced compared to the camera action, it could be said it is non-contrapuntal music. 

    As the character is revealed, we see that he is off black ethnicity, through this we straight away see a stereotype. He is represented as a young man full of violence and no purity. This is a stereotype of young black teenage boys, always getting into trouble and getting arrested. This is purposely used to try and attract a niche target audience, which for this movie is perhaps teenagers. However another character is the mother and this may appeal to an older audience resulting in a wider audience range. 

   There is a quick club scene shown for a few seconds. The lighting is very dark, which connotes it could be a bad place, and again is a stereotype. The character is shown with a gun several times which creates an enigma code...why is he holding a weapon, after just getting out from prison? This grips the audience and makes them want to watch the movie itself. The is also a female counterpart of the main character and again she is shown to be represented as a sexual object. For the main reason of her being on the trailer is to show his sexual interest, which is a stereotype used on many women in movies. 

   The audience range by age can vary as it looks like the film has an adult interest to help parents in similar situations. However the income of the target audience will not by very high at all, it may be nothing. The reason for this is during the trailer, the settings used are mainly on the streets, in clubs and council flats. This connotes that the characters are not very wealthy to help relate to the target audience and satisfy their need of wanting to achieve and be better. This relates to maslows hierarchy and even a line of appeal.
