What is Web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is the internet as we know it. The old web was much slower, used dial up and did not let us access the information we sometimes needed. However with the modern day era and technology rapidly improving, web 2.o allows us with much more. For example much faster internet connection, web connection almost anywhere, social networking sites such as bebo, facebook and myspace and blogs which allow us to post out thoughts on the world wide web.

Also web 2.0 gives us sites such as youtube, which some people find very entertaining. By enabling us to find out what we need to almost instantly, such as the news, shares and the stock market, web 2.0 is a huge breakthrough and will continue to develop in the years to come.
